FY2021 SNJCOC Local NOFO-New Projects Process Open!

Applications for NEW PROJECTS will be accepted from eligible organizations interested in applying for 2021 HUD funding from Bonus, Domestic Violence Bonus, and Reallocated funds to provide permanent supportive housing, rapid re-housing, and supportive services. A Review Committee will evaluate proposals based on objective performance criteria, local needs and priorities, and make recommendations to the SNJCoC Executive Board on the prioritization of these funds. The Committee reserves the right to request additional information as needed.  

Southern New Jersey CoC is eligible  to apply for:

  • Up to $298,429in new project bonus funding to create a new permanent supportive housing project for chronically homeless individuals (CoC Priority); and
  • Up to$895,288 in Domestic Violence (DV) Bonus projects dedicated to serving survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking (24 CFR 578.3).

SNJCoC are also seeking applications for the following type of DV Bonus projects:

  • Permanent Housing-Rapid Rehousingprojects dedicated to serving survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking that are defined as home (24 CFR 578.3)
  • Supportive services only– coordinated entry project to implement policies, procedures, and practices that equip the CoC’s coordinated entry to better meet the needs of survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking. 

DV Bonus funds can also be used to expand an existing renewal project if the expansion project is dedicated to survivor of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.

2021 Prevention Reinvestment Funds

Notice is hereby given that applications for funds from eligible organizations interested in applying for 2021 Prevention Reinvestment Funds Services will be received by CPAC: The Community Planning and Advocacy Council. 

The Request for Proposal will be available online as of 12:00 pm, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at www.cpachvi.org under the “NEWS” tab. With the COVID-19 Pandemic affecting us all, CPAC is trying to limit face to face interactions; no hard copies of the RFP will be available for pickup.

Notice is hereby given that sealed applications for funds from eligible organizations interested in applying for 2020 Prevention Reinvestment Services will be received on behalf of the County of Camden by CPAC: The Community Planning and Advocacy Council.

The Request for Proposal are available as of Noon, Friday, December 20, 2019 at CPAC: The Community Planning and Advocacy Council, 2500 McClellan Ave, Suite 120, Pennsauken, NJ 08109, and may be obtained by perspective applicants during business hours.  A copy of the proposal will also be made available on www.cpachvi.org as of Noon, Friday, December 20, 2019.

A Technical Assistance Meeting was held on Noon, Friday, December 20, 2019 at 12:00 pm at CPAC in Conference Room A.  Although not mandatory, all potential provider are strongly encouraged to participate in the meeting. 2019 SNJCoC HUD NOFA Application

The Southern New Jersey  County Continuum of Care is submitting the below documentation to HUD in response to the 2019 Notice of Funding Available (NOFA) Continuum of care application process for homelessness assistance. These projects represent a request of over $4.5M in federal funds.

NOTICE OF FUNDS AVAILABLE – Phase 36 FEMA

Notice is hereby given that sealed applications for funds from eligible organizations interested in applying for Phase 36 FEMA Funding will be received on behalf of the Camden County FEMA Board of Directors by CPAC: The Community Planning and Advocacy Council. 

Completed proposals are due no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday July 11, 2019 to CPAC.

2019 SNJCoC HUD NOFA – Local Process

The Southern NJ Continuum of Care (SNJCoC) is an association comprised of county-wide homelessness Continuums of Care that provides information, services and advocacy on behalf of the homeless and at-risk of homelessness population in the participating SNJCoC Counties (Camden, Cape May, Cumberland and Gloucester).  Our local process for funding has begun.

A Pre-bid Meeting will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at CPAC, 2500 McClellan Avenue, Suite 110, Pennsauken, NJ 08109.  Persons can attend in person and the pre-bid will also be accessible via conference call, at which time questions concerning the RFP and local priorities will be answered.
